Framing shouldn't be complicated.
We started Lowercase Framing because getting a canvas professionally framed was always more painful than it needed to be — expensive, slow, and completely out of your hands. You'd drop off your artwork and hope for the best.
We wanted to change that. Our kits give you everything you need to frame your own canvas at home, without any special skills or tools. The timber moulding is pre-cut, the joining mechanism is built into the wood, and we include the allen key. You just put it together.
It's framing on your terms — done at home, at your own pace, for a fraction of the cost of a traditional framer.
We're based in Brisbane and ship across Australia.

What's included in the kit?
Each kit includes pre-cut wood, allen key for joining corners, canvas hanging hardware, and a step-by-step instruction card. Everything you need to frame your canvas at home — no extra tools required.
What canvas sizes do the kits fit?
We currently offer three options:
Small with Overall Frame Dimension 80.9 x 55.5 x 3.8cm
Medium with Overall Frame Dimension 35.1 x 45.3 x 3.8cm
Large with Overall Frame Dimension 80.9 x 55.5 x 3.8cm
Do I need any tools or experience?
No experience needed. The kits are designed for beginners — all you'll need is a flat surface and a few minutes. No staple gun, no power tools, just your hands and the included hardware.
